Studio
As a practising artist in printmaking and painting, I combine these influences to create an evolving range of wallpapers.
I practice this traditional craft in my studio in Dorset. The pressure difference of each print gives a unique impression with slight imperfections, adding character and authenticity and impossible to recreate.
Process
A design is traced onto an A1 lino sheet and mounted onto plywood.
The lino is then cut using a v-shaped gouge to create a relief surface.
It is then 'inked' with household paint and repeatedly impressed (foot-stamped) onto a painted roll of lining paper, and peeled off to reveal the print.

‘Cluster’
