After graduating from Huddersfield School of Art in 1985, I worked for 15 years as a graphic designer and painter and now I paint full time.

'Inspired by nature, I interpret images seen and moments felt. I re-invent and play with mood and emotion, achieving a certain balance. This feeling of control goes against nature and I find this empowering. I love to feel the paint and canvas with my hands - scratching and making marks, giving texture and life to a painting.
